How to create an ad?
After you become a registered advertiser you can begin creating an ad. Learn how to do it.
- Name your ad to start with
- Select the language in which you want the ad to be displayed (Presently only English).
- Select your target market (Circles - Metros and States in India)
- Choose if you want a small or long message.
- Choose the timings in which you want the message to be sent.
- Give your top 3 keywords. Learn what is a keyword
- The total budget you plan to spend
- Bid for the charges per SMS.
- The maximum daily budget on your ad.
- Click ‘submit' to start sending your ad.
How to design an interesting ad?
The content of your ads should capture users' attention and set your business apart.
- Select keywords that best suit your business (for keyword-targeted ads).
Select keywords related to your business to make sure your ad reaches related mobile users. Avoid using your company name or brand as a keyword. - Create simple, enticing ads.
What makes your product or service stand out from your competitors? Highlight these key differentiating points in your ad. Be sure to describe any unique features or promotions you offer. - Use a strong call-to-action.
Your ad should convey a call-to-action along with the benefits of your product or service. A call-to-action encourages users to buy your product or use your service and ensures they understand exactly what you expect them to do. Some call-to-action phrases are Buy, Order, and Get a Quote. - Test multiple ads for the same service or product
Experiment with different offers and call-to-action phrases to see what's most effective for your advertising goals. Our system helps you know the better-performing ad more often. You can use that ad for your present and future advertising campaigns.
Will you design an ad for me?
No, we don't design any ads for you presently. You have to create your own ads.
Where will my ad appear?
Your ad will appear right under the personal message that the user sends.
When do my ads start being sent?
Your ad will be sent across as soon as 160by2 approves it. It will be sent during the timeframe you set for your ad.
How many ads can I send?
There is no limit on how many ads you can send. This is determined by how much you set your Max Daily Spend and your Max Budget. The tighter your restrictions the fewer (and more targeted) the recipients are.
Does my ad need any approval?
Yes, your ad has to be approved before 24 hours it is sent to the mobile users.
Why is my ad disapproved? What to do next?
Your ad has to meet certain content guidelines and requirements, mentioned in the ‘Terms and Conditions'. If it does not meet them, we will disapprove the ad and intimate the same to you mentioning the reasons.
What if I want to send the same ad again?
If you want to send the same ad again, you can customize it by making your preferences like Circles (MetrosbyStates), Time Windows, Industries and Keywords. Don't forget to allocate daily budget to it.
What I need to do to send my SMS ad to more than one location? You can select multiple locations by pressing ‘ctrl' tab. In this case the daily budget will be allocated between the locations selected according to the number of SMS sent by users at the timeframe selected. But, if you want to allocate different daily budgets to different locations you have to create different ads with the same ad text and different location.
